Yes, I had to change the plugin because I needed a responsive menu working.
This is a page on my website where toogle menu doesn´t work when I´m using VP Portfolio.

By the way, VP Portfolio plugin is the only responsive plugin I´ve found really good.
Please, let me know a code o line to resolve the toogle menu issue, because I need this plugin on my website.

Hi.
If you want to get help, show me an online example where your menu is not working. For now, I see the page without Visual Portfolio with a working menu.

I think the problem in SVG FontAwesome icons used in the plugin. You can disable it manually, see the first FAQ section here https://visualportfolio.co/documentation/faq/
