@harpermartin,
Are you using the actual widget that the plugin provides or are you using a shortcode in a text widget?
I believe I’m using the widget – on the “Widget” page it’s under “Dynamic Template: Widget Calendar” under that it says “Google Calendar Events” and has the settings.
Any luck with this after the recent updates?
Nope, back and next navigation in grid calendar still take you to the top of the page
I don’t understand “Dynamic Tamplate: Widget Calendar”. Maybe this is something that comes with your theme, or a special plugin? I am using twentytwelve (and the Dynamic Widgets plugin). I can choose Appearance -> Widgets, and then I am offered “Google Calendar Events” in the list of available widgets.
I wonder if your theme or plugin has something to do with the problem?
“Dynamic template” is part of the theme – it’s just what they call the page templates. I can set the widget options here, in fact I can set to not display the next and back navigation links here, but those navigation links just take you to the top of the page – not the next or previous months as they are supposed to do.

Updated this morning to 2.1.5, now not working at all again (no events).
I visited rockymountainhighway.org and it looks good — or am I missing something?
When you hover over the calendar the events are suppose to drop down, plus the next and back navigation issue
I don’t see “back” and “next.” I see the names of the months, and those links seem to behave properly for me. Also, I’m getting a drop-down — not sure if this is the behavior you’re looking for: http://imgur.com/ZzIUs1A
Everything works now with latest update
Hi, I’ve upgraded to the latest plugin but still having the issue or ‘next’ and ‘previous’ not working. http://www.baxter.co.za/events-calendar/
just jumps to the top of the page.
Try upgrading to the new 2.1.7 version. We tried to fix this issue for you guys in there. If you could upgrade and then let me know if it fixes it for you or not then that would be great.
Thanks!
@dan_za Looks like a plugin or your theme is outputting a very old version of jQuery in addition to the correct version coming from WordPress. Here’s the line on the page:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.3/jquery.min.js”></script>
If you don’t know the source of this, try disabling plugins and/or switching to a stock WP theme such as 2012 to see if/when it gets resolved.
