    Hi,

My website is broken after your last update. Here is what I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’, expecting :: (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM) in /wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php on line 70

How can I resolve this issue?

    Thanks in advance

  • Lesson learned. For anyone not managing your own hosting, make sure everything is up to date before quoting a price to take over. I inherited the site and hosting. I don’t want to name names, but the hosting company is lazy and less than competent. Old Apache, old PHP, old cPanel and most recent restore point is nearly two weeks ago. This is a $150 a month “managed” VPS. Rather risk an Apache, PHP, cPanel update without a back up, I deleted the siteorigin-panels folder and re-installed. Worked perfectly.

Really glad to hear all is well now. Really sorry for the hassle. Thanks for sharing your experience with everyone regarding hosting. We released an updated version yesterday that resolves the PHP 5.2 error.

All the best. If any questions arise, please let us know.
