sorry, I wasn’t clear … when you go to “Settings” -> “Reading” and the “Front page displays” it tells you which page is set to appear as the front page (home page). Then you’ll need to go to pages and edit that page. When you go to edit the page (or any other page), on the right side there should be a panel called “WordPress Connect” – http://wp-connect.tomasvorobjov.com/docs/#plugins-position

Yes, I see that you’ve said that twice, but I sent you an image because i can’t find the “Homepage” option under “Display Settings” — do you see it on the image I sent?
… that is not under the “display settings” there … this option is under the plugin’s settings: on the left side find “WP Connect”, expand it then click on “Comments” scroll down to “Display Settings” and there you should see the “Homepage” options (please note that the option is disabled if you have “Everywhere” or “Nowhere” selected)

So now the double comment fields are gone from the home page — as you said, ALL comment fields are gone from the home page. Now –which boxes do I check to get the comment boxes to appear on the other pages?

or just give it a try (enable/disable them one by one and see which ones you wanna keep)
