Thank you for creating this plugin, I have been trying to get jScrollPane working manually and I was at the point of tearing out what little hair I have left. This plugin worked first time and it’s idiot proof! Thanks

I would like to request 2 features for future versions.

    1. The ability to hide(or force) X or Y overflow on your container that jScrollPane has been applied to. E.g if you have content that only requires people to scroll vertically, but for some reason a horizontal scroll bar has also appeared, you can override it and stop it from appearing.

    2. Ability to add photoshopped designs for your scrollbars, gutters and caps, in jpg, gif, png etc.

    3. Some cool html 5 effects like animation or gradients.

    Thanks again!

That happened to me a couple weeks ago, try login into your cpanel, go to your database section there should be an option to scan and fix database

I did that. I’m with yahoo and i think what has happened is at some pint i was asked for my password and when i used it a message came up saying my password has been successfully changed.

It was the same password so now i am wondering if it generated a new password code in the database that no longer matches the one in the wp-config.php but if it did it did not display it anywhere and i have no idea where to find it.

Yahoo have a few emails from me so hopefully they are onto it.

ah ok, hope it doesn’t take to long to get sorted. Things like that usually happened to me a the worst possible time lol!

Thanks. I cannot believe i have not backed up though. Hopefully lesson learnt.

I’ve fixed the space issue. It’s all looking great now.

The header still gets a few seconds pushed left but that is the only small issue. The site looks so much nicer for the full page scroll.

    Thanks again Cornfeed.

I am back with a quick update. I have changed the structure of the theme files and added some more precision to the css file creation function so it only selects immediate children of the handles defined.
What does this mean? scroll bars are handled properly when two themes are used on the same page or one is the full page scrollbar.

If you have some time, please try this one out, I feel very good about this release, I know there are a few bugs left, so I need people to help me in browser testing. please test on a view-able site (non-local), so I can debug.

Please follow the same instructions as above, using the same link.
    Let me know….

Give me an hour and i’ll post a link.

I have the full page scroll up but when i click to add a new scrollpane set nothing happens so cannot try it on the comments.

    I just picked contrasting colors.

Okay, I just got finished adding the WinXP theme back in, and I believe it works. I imagine there are going to be CSS errors but I will need everyone to help me fix those as I am not very good with CSS.
I can not find any more obvious type errors and have tested on a live site.
you can view them in action at http://stage.alltechservices-ia.com/
This will probably be the last changes I make for a week.
If testing goes well, I will look into how to release as a beta.

UPDATE: of course there is one last error when using two pre-made themes on the same page :-P, fix coming in a day.

Looking good on the test blog http://chrisfawkes.net/blog1/

One thing i note is that it is putting a cap on the bottom of the scrollbar anyway so by the time i add something for the top the cap at the bottom is a little bigger.

I cannot seem to get arrows appearing as on the left scroll bar you have on the demo page you linked to above.

    Looking great other than that.

Ok here it is on my main blog http://chrisfawkes.net/cfblog/blog/

You may be interested to note that if i choose the Automatically Reinitialize: option for the comments or for the scroll boxes with images the comments or images creep to the left of the screen as the page loads until they are completely off screen.

That option works fine on the full page scroll of course.

Ok fixed up a few things, try downloading the code again.
This one handles multiples of the same theme, fixes the arrows not showing up issue that you had, and all of this is made to be minify compliant. in other words, it uses css files so if your install uses minify, it will include it properly.

About the automatic resize. I just included it as an option for those that use a lot of images. i am not really sure what it does, i just saw it on the jscrollpane website and thought I should add the functionality. Kevin’s website might be of more help.

Also, are you testing this while logged in? at the top there is a notice:
“When testing while logged-in, the WordPress Admin Bar changes the whole-page behavior. Log-out and it will work fine.”
Try viewing the site in another browser to test the fullpage behavior

Does not work? At my Suchmaschinenoptimierung Berlin Steglitz Blog it works…
