    Thank you for creating this plugin, I have been trying to get jScrollPane working manually and I was at the point of tearing out what little hair I have left. This plugin worked first time and it’s idiot proof! Thanks

    I would like to request 2 features for future versions.

    1. The ability to hide(or force) X or Y overflow on your container that jScrollPane has been applied to. E.g if you have content that only requires people to scroll vertically, but for some reason a horizontal scroll bar has also appeared, you can override it and stop it from appearing.

    2. Ability to add photoshopped designs for your scrollbars, gutters and caps, in jpg, gif, png etc.

    3. Some cool html 5 effects like animation or gradients.

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks for the tip on not being logged in. In Safari i was getting double scroll bars but signing out fixed that.

    Ticking the Automatically Reinitialize: option on my comments or on the image scroll boxes makes the content creep left until it is off of screen.

    I don’t need that option ticked but thought you may want to be aware.

    I continue to consider you a god amongst plugin developers cornfeed.

    Let me know if there is anything i can do.

    Is auto reinitialize pushing horizontal instead of vertical?

    All I know is that it was intended for boxes that have content that loads slowly, which pretty much means images.
    The demo only shows a vertical box….

    I do have one more question/request.

    I notice that if i click anywhere inside the scrollbox for my images or comments that i get the glowing blue line. Is there a way to remove that?

    Cheers.

    I am building a site for a friend and i had installed version one of jscrollpane.

    She is using the same theme as me but her site is hosted with blu host (i’m with yahoo) so when i uploaded the latest trial it would not activate. The meesage it gave for not activation was

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home3/ruthtrev/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornfeed-WP-jScrollPane-213f4cc/wp-jscrollpane.php on line 810

    Thought you may want to know.

    @fawkesblog2 i just updated the version in the wordpress repo. try installing from the included plugin search and install feature.
    other than that, it might be that the host does not have a properly configured php :-/

    May be that. It works great on yahoo. I’m loving it.

    Glad you are liking it. You, and everyone else, should update to the one from wordpress’s repo (you can use the built-in search & installer) because it has a few more changes.

    I am still have a serious problem creating a good first theme, but the frame work is there :-/ so WinXP doesn’t exactly show the way I want, but I figure someone will help me fix it πŸ˜€

    Hello Cornfeed thanks for the plug in πŸ™‚ im having a couple problems…

    1) i keep getting this /wp-jscrollpane.php on line 810 the 2.0 version didnt do this and if it my host hasn’t properly configured php how do i fix this?

    2) I cant get the plug to properly work im a little confused on how you put it into a page every time i put it in their it shows the bar but dont
    scroll or the bar scrolls but the article don’t move. Thoughts?

    I just upgraded to the latest version on the spare blog and it works great but when i loaded the latest version on my friends site on bluhost it just gave a white screen.

    I reloaded the previous version which gave the error noted above so went back to version one which for her site is fantastic anyway.

    Just thought you may want to know, so working great on yahoo but having issues with bluhost.

    @fawkesblog2 Hello is their any way you can show me the properly put jsp in a post?

    … Anybody?… πŸ™

    Neovota, it would be helpful if you posted a link so people could see

    @neovota

    1) The objects are found by using their selector. So even if a page is loaded that does not have div#post-1, jquery is still looking for it, and because it does not exist, it does not load. if the page has the defined selector, then it activates the jscrollpane plugin.

    2) Include a link or an error. Line 810 reads: “if( isset($_POST[‘wpjspclient’]) ) {” i can not find anything wrong with that line.

    Are you using 2.0.1? Examples at stage.alltechservices-ia.com

    @fawkesblog2
    Really? I wish you could find out the error. if there is a white screen, it is usually because of plugin conflicts from what I have read…
    I created a fresh instance on my custom server and inmotion, both worked fine with 2.0.1 so I am not sure what is going on with these odd hosts. I tried to avoid code that would be problematic :-/

    @larssonk22 sorry my testing site πŸ™‚ http://testing.legendaryartsgames.com/725-2/

    @cornfeed
