Quick switch still broken?

    I noticed the most recent changelong notes: “[Fixed] Quick switch in Notifications table.”

    However, I think this is still broken, if it refers to what I think it does.

    I just turned off a couple of notifications with the switch in the /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=notification page but the relevant notifications were still sent.

    Can you please advise if this is an ongoing issue you are hearing about other users still experiencing?

    I think I will probably have to loop in my guy who helps out with more complicated site tech stuff for this. I’ll get back to you a bit later. Thanks again for all the help in trying to debug this.

    Sorry for doing this to you! I know this is painful.

    Thanks for the cooperation this seems like an edge case where your server config can cause this or the old to new plugin migration didn’t go well or maybe we have some bug in the code causing this. Maybe all three at the same time 🙂

    Just an update for anyone following this: The issue seems to have been caused by a caching plugin we also had installed. Turning that off solved the issue, though one thing I’m not clear on is why the issue started in the first place, as we previously had both plugins for months and the problem only started within the last few weeks.

    Anyway, thanks to Kuba for being so responsive and helping us troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks @tomangell for follow-up. I’d like to add that this was caused by database caching and I’ll be working to resolve this in the plugin core (to skip the database query cache).

    Problem was caused probably because of the core change – now all the config is kept within the post_content and this probably got cached.
