Everything looks and works fine in elementor editor, but yesterday the live site reflects purely random style changes in the header, only on the first page. The header is a elementor template and was working fine before – I thought maybe there might have been an automatic update that went through and screwed me up? I’ve tried regenerating css, clearing cache, and everything that the elementor instructions advised to do… The thing is that I didn’t do anything to prompt the change – I’ve had the same theme (astra) and haven’t toyed with any of the stuff under the hood. So what gives? I’ve seen some other people asking this question this year, but no answer yet online. Thanks in advance.

I recommend asking at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/elementor/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Yeah, I did that but no response yet… Anyway, I figured it out and I am wondering if anyone can help. I had put custom css just altering half the the text to a different colors in two small areas. For some reason this caused a conflict and made half the header and footer look funny and pull some of the style from the underlying theme it seems…. but why? i tried just renaming the class in case it was that but it doesn’t seem to matter what I put in there. Any thoughts? thanks
