i have put in a few already look for the email addy from silverlan72 about this finally i broke down said ill try the forums. i have no idea why this glitch is there i even cleared all plugins to see if one of them caused an issue nope same no matter what. for now i leave it up to you guys for help 😀 ill put in another now.

tried dif browsers even dif computers and internet its just not there. since my other site works perfect is there maybe a way i can make the form there than transfer a php file or something over to the new site in the meantime??? till this is figured out???
Are you also using the same Theme in both site? Are both site up to date with WordPress installation?
Same theme and same plugins same versions only dif is its a dif hosting company than mine. I even tried installing different versions of the plugin and deleting the plugin folder and reinstalling wont fix this glitch. I went to add a custom field and than poof it vanished hasn’t worked since.
Okay that extra information helps a lot. Can you check from your host what PHP version each have? I am certain it has to do with either the PHP version or some settings in the server.
checking now i have a feeling that might be it cause i just thought to check that. ok the glitched site according to updraft backup which gives me a break down shows its version 5.4.45. Now the site it works(my design server that’s live) on is version 5.5.38 so it seems their server is outdated slightly is there a way i can update that or do i have to contact the host? and does it make a difference if the versions are off only slightly?
You need to contact your host and ask them if they can update their PHP version. It is very important to always have the most up to date and stable PHP version installed in an Apache server. At present my server is running PHP version 5.6.28.

ok ill look into that but it was working on the version it currently is at and it works 100% fine on my backup server which is the 5.5 version so can one minor version make that much of a difference that it would remove an entire section from the settings? when it was working on that version prior?
It could also be a setting change in the server. I suggest that you contact your host and ask them if they have made any changes to your account? You can also share the current issue you are having with your host, just to provide more information.
And yes to your question about a different PHP version. The versions you see above in the link I provide lets you know which version is no longer updated and or supported. The versions that are no longer updated and supported present a huge security risk and your host should immediately update the PHP version if it is old and out of date. Most host carry out this but there is always the odd one that has fallen behind. If you search in that website from the link I provided above, you can find out each version changelog. The changelog explains why there is an update and the changes implemented in that version. For example when PHP 7 came out many plugin developers had to update their plugins to be 100% compatible with servers running PHP 7. The same applies to themes. I think you get the point.
Let me know if you need more information. Also please keep me posted with what your host says and if updating the PHP version helps you or not.

i will contact them tomorrow and hope for the best, this guy seems to be a flake. but the client likes them anyways also side note can i take the form php file from one site and add it over to this one. if so what file do i need to transfer. cause it works i just cant edit it so i figure in the mean time i can ftp from one server to the other the form. least that way i can edit it on my site than transfer the form to the clients server? or is that not going to work right?? i need this site live by next week all is done accept this glitch lol. nothing is ever smoothe for me. thanks again for all your advice and help keep it up.

reply to affmngr: database table? Only thing i did was was click on add custom field to add in a new section. Than it refreshed the page basically than poof the entire thing was gone and has been gone. i sent in as per your request another post through the contact form. Please get back to me as soon as possible. and can someone please tell me if i can transfer some file that houses the form in it over to the new host so i can build the new form on my test site than copy it over to the new host the forms work i just cant edit it. so figure ill edit it on the test site than copy it over to the clients host site.
Update: so i contacted the host they upgraded the server to a higher Version and i tested the plugin no change what so ever so now i tried to uninstall it and i deleted the folder with the remaining plugin parts but when i reinstall it remembers all my settings and affiliates is there another file i need o remove i wonder if there is a glitch there that is overriding a fresh install?
Update again for today: i installed a database clean up tool plugin it was scary but i tried it anyways backed up everything first. any who i deleted all the table data that was part of the wpam after double checking to make sure they didnt tie to anything else. waited 5 mins reinstalled the plugin and now the section is back:) now well see if it vanishes again when i fix the now defaulted table. but it seems to of been a problem in the table directory which one no clue. TY all for the help and if it glitches again ill let you all know in the mean time if this happens to you uninstall the plugin than get use a database plugin to remove all related parts in the tables than wait reinstall and you might be golden please be golden. Once again Thank you all for your ideas and help have a great night. If you are not comfortable with doing this seek help or back up everything like crazy before attempting.
