Hi @stellamaris5,
I do notice that the Google+ share counts are appearing on your homepage, but not appearing on your blog post after I have shared and refreshed the post. I will have to investigate this further with the help of my dev team. I will follow up with you once I get a resolution. π
Thanks for your patience,
Mary Anne
Thanks Mary Anne. I shall await your response. Also the formatting of the buttons does not match what I have selected. Maybe this is conneceted
Hi @stellmaris5,
It appears that your G+ share counts are working for all your pages. Can you please verify on your end that you are seeing this as well?
Thanks,
Mary Anne
They are working yes but there aren’t as many as there used tone on the home page under http as there were under https
Hi @stellamaris5,
Thanks for verifying. Unfortunately, if you change your domain or the structure of the domain, the share counts will reset. Share counts are unique to the originating URL. You can read about how share counts work here: http://support.shareaholic.com/hc/en-us/articles/200471596-Share-Count-Troubleshooting
Please let me know if you have anymore questions about this, or need further clarification.
Thanks,
Mary Anne
BUt I had the issue with going from HTTP to HTTPS and they were reinstated after you helped me out. Can this not be done when now going back from HTTPS to HTTP?
Hi @stellamaris5,
It should go back to the http share counts but I can verify the accuracy. Can you please give me an example URL of a page with share counts that are inaccurate?
Thank you,
Mary Anne
No it’s fine if the https counts cannot be recovered. The current http counts are correct I just wanted to see if there was a way to add the old https counts.
Hi , any resolution to this?
1) share counts are ok now
2) related content is still showing some https links instead of all http
