No Chantal that doesn’t make a difference.
Can you try deactivating and deleting the shortcode plugin then reinstall it?
Okay Andrea I have replicated this issue using your shortcode. I will test it tonight and see if I can resolve the issue.
Hi Ruth. Just wanted to let you know that there’s one more for the same issue that just began after updating.
Here are my shortcodes for two categories.
[ecs-list-events cat=”advanced-part-ii-workshops” limit=’10’]
[ecs-list-events cat=’comprehensive-one-day-workshops’ limit=’25’]
Hi Ruth. Also showed no events after update to 1.0.9. Rolled back to 1.0.6 and its working again.
Hi Ruth,
Thank you so much for researching this. I love this plugin, and am using it throughout my site. Question: while we’re all trying to figure out what’s happening, is there somewhere to get a zip file of 1.0.8 or 1.0.7 (the one that allows for ordering the information displayed.) 1.0.6 (my original download) works great for me, but the ability to organize the display is great to have.
Please update to version 1.0.10 and let me know if there are any issues now.
Hoooooray for you!
That did it, Ruth. You get Code Goddess points. Thank you so much.
Will make another gratitude donation!
Good morning. That did the trick! Last night I was reading that the WordPress 4.2.3 security patch broke most Shortcodes. Is that what happened here?
Good point, jayPeg. As a coincidence, I updated the shortcode only minutes before the WP update kicked in, so I couldn’t be certain which caused the issue.
Either way, thanks for looking at it.
I’m using it for the first time on a new site that should be rolling out in the next week and it’s really helpful getting the Event Calendar to display nicely.
