My main events feed will not load. (this or this)

Category feeds WILL load without any problems.

When I disable permalinks, feed validators will successfully display the main events feed xml, but MailChimp will fail to load it in a campaign. (However, MC will load a category feed just fine.)

Tried and tested everything I can think of… BigDogSF’s solution didn’t change things.

Any ideas?

sorry but we are having a hard time looking into this since it involves other plugin such as Mailchimp.

I don’t think Mailchimp’s service is the problem.

All category feeds (example) are working fine. They validate and Mailchimp can read them.

All other RSS feeds are working on my site except for the main RSS feed.

the problem lies with the events page and have no connection with the RSS feed

infact the addition of slug / or feed with permalinks & feed = rss2 reproduces content rss

can I know what is your permalink setting under events > settings > pages > permalink slugs?

ftila, you nailed the problem! Thank you!

Really, the problem was quite simple too – now that I realize what was happening. I placed all my pages in the default order and now all is working.

angelo, I’m using “Post Name” permalinks.
