sitemap problem in lessons

In the generated sitemap, the course links are indexed incorrectly and get 404 errors.

created sitemap link (404):
xxx.com/lessons/sample-lessons

link to the sitemap that should be there:
xxx.com/courses/sample-course/lessons/sample-lessons

There have been threads about this error before, but apparently to no avail. I think this is a permalink related problem.

Sitemap generated when I change the value “‘slug’ => ‘lessons’,” in learnpress/inc/custom-post-types/lesson.php line 189:

xxx.com/changed-lessons/sample-lessons
