Still unresolved. Solid Security removing WP_CACHE and breaking WP Super Cache
-
Bumping this as the issue is still occurring.
We have just had to manually fix this across hundreds of sites.
Solid Security (formerly iThemes Security) rewrites wp-config.php and removes or relocates the WP_CACHE constant. This causes WP Super Cache to repeatedly report broken caching and recreate advanced-cache.php.
The only reliable fix has been to move WP_CACHE and WPCACHEHOME outside any plugin managed block and place them just above wp-settings.php.
