    Hi there,

i am using your plugin to display the facebook feed of this site: www.facebook.com/magiclinz/

and it worked about a week, suddenly today i started to get the error #100 this page may not be public, but i did not change anything anywhere.

I tried to get new access tokens, deleting the plugin etc… still getting the error.

    What is the problem here?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey @dalv1k
let’s see if it fixes the problem:

    1. Please login to your Facebook account and check the box for SlickRemix and then click the Remove button.

    2. Now go to the Facebook Options page of our plugin and click the button to get a new Access Token and click Save All Changes at the bottom of the page.
    3. Delete the cache from the Settings > Global Options tab of our plugin Feed Them and any other caching plugins you may have active.
    4. Refresh Page.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks,
    Justin

I tried re-authenticating and cache-reset several times, sadly changed nothing.

It seems that Facebook changed something in their APIs on April 3rd or 4th, see here:

You got anything on this? Because the page i try to display is a business page i think.

    Hey @dalv1k,
That has to do with creating a feed for a Facebook Group. If you are trying to display a feed for a group we no longer support this due to Facebooks Privacy changes and how difficult they have made it now to do so.

You said you are trying to do this for a page though it appears. What are your privacy settings for the Facebook Page is it public? Do you have it set to ages 21+ or only visible to people in a specific location? these are all settings that Facebook will return that error for.

    Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    It is public, yes: https://www.facebook.com/magiclinz/

It is the page of a shop, not a group.

The funny thing is, everything worked fine about a week ago, then the feed suddenly changed to error #100.

I will check the facebook page settings more deeply when i have the time.

    Hi,

    http://magic-linz.at/

The token says its ok, i cleared the cache multiple times and use the last version of the plugin.

Any idea what could be wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hey @dalv1k
Sorry for the troubles! Please login to your Facebook account go to the “settings” area and look for “Business Integrations” now check the box for SlickRemix and then click the Remove button.

    2. Now go to the Facebook Options page of our plugin. To ensure new token gets added delete out the old token input fields and then go to the bottom of the page and click save.

    3. After the page refreshes, click the button to get a new Access Token and click Save All Changes at the bottom of the page.

    4. Delete the cache from the Settings > Global Options tab of our plugin Feed Them and any other caching plugins you may have active.

    5. Refresh Page.

Let me know if this works for you.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Thanks for your answer, tried that and it sadly still says Error Code 1. 🙁

I can see your feed ok here https://feedthemsocial.com/facebook-page-feed-demo/?feedID=magiclinz&show_media=top so there is either an access token problem, shortcode problem or another plugin may be causing a conflict. What is the shortcode you are using and what version of the plugin are you using?

Well, here is my testsite: http://magic-linz.at/test/

I deactivated all plugins, still does not work. Maybe something with my webserver?

It’s possible. Explain the issue to them and ask if they have any outgoing ports blocked on your server that prevent API calls from being made to Facebook.

I don’t know why, but it works again.

    Thanks anyway for your time!
