@stephanielebas,
The assets URL error usually means you have multiple PayPal plug-ins enabled. You need to choose one PayPal Gateway and stick with it.
The translation is in the file, there isn’t anything else I can do, you will need to ask the developers of your translation plug-in about that.
Kind regards,
Thank you. I don’t understand… I’ve tried both options : Loco Translate, but it didn’t work. Then I’ve disabled it and tried with Poedit, uploading it via FileZilla directly. But the problem remains the same…
@stephanielebas,
You should contact the developers of the Loco Translate plugin and ask them about it. the string exists, it’s using the proper translation function, and it has a text domain.
I don’t see that there’s anything else I can do on my end. All the other translatable strings follow the same logic and they work. When I have some time I will translate it using Loco and see what happens.
Kind Regards,
I understand… Unfortunately Loco Translate doesn’t provide help regarding translations not showing “problems displaying individual strings are almost always due to the theme or plugin you’re translating” => https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/translations-not-showing-4/
So I’ve tried with other translation tools such as Poedit and also tried with another theme but the problem remains the same. :/
Maybe take a look at their FAQ:
https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/specific-words
Per my last response, when I have some time I will try and translate it and see if I run in to the same issue.
Thanks,
@stephanielebas,
So the issue ended up being that the software we use to generate translations doesn’t pick up plural forms in the _n() function.
We added the missing plural forms of the strings and the translations worked in Loco translate. I have committed the changes to the woo-payment-gatway.pot file.
Kind Regards,
Thank you so much ! I’ve just re-installed the plugin.
Can you just precise me which strings do I have to translate for my “2 months” problem ? In order to be sure that everything is OK.
Best regards,
@stephanielebas,
You would search for %s month and in loco you will have the option to translate that string and the plural form which is every %s%s month.
Thank you ! The fact is that I don’t see these plural forms while I’m translating the plugin in French… Please see here : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i27imto5rr1kt6m/AABJfzsAQGWhXOR1KAJd_Vq2a?dl=0
Hope all of this will be finally fixed soon
Best regards
Well, finally I’ve decided to do it with Poedit directly and everything works perfectly ! Thank you so much for your help !
Best regards
