Uncaught syntax error on a Ninja Form when using this plugin

    On the 17th July we updated the plugins on our website and some of our webforms broke. We have tracked this down to hidden fields recorded on form submissions which use shortcodes from the User IP & Location plugin. The following is an example of one such error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier ‘user’ (at contact-us/:267:44213)
    We verified that it is this plugin causing the fault by removing the fields and disabling the plugin.

    As there were updates on the 13th and 15th July to this plugin (according to the published changelog), we believe it to be related to one of those updates.
