Hi there,
There is a WP Show Posts widget for this reason exactly (someone brought it up when using Beaver Builder I believe).
You should find it among your available widgets.
Let me know 🙂
… one shouldnt work under pressure and use brains 🙂
yes – of course there is a widget! sorry, overlooked it completely. my fault.
but although it works fine without the mentioned issue there is another one: the widget is not showing up, as long as i put in a title for it… when doing so, everythings alright. have to delete the title then and everything stays allright.
but nevertheless somewhere seems to be a little bug?
thanks again.

Hmm I’m not experiencing this on my end.
Is this when adding it through Elementor?
Can you try in “Appearance > Widgets” in a regular widget area?
no issues when adding directly in ‘appearence/widgets’.
but same as in elementor when using wp customizer…
maybe has something to do with preview?

Will look into this and update you 🙂
@dasigna –
What I have found that works the best, with no issues, is to place the WPSP shortcode into an Elementor WP Text widget.
Cheers!

I just updated the plugin on GitHub that should fix this widget issue.
Can you grab the latest files and let me know? If it’s working I’ll release the update here on W.org 🙂

Yup!
thats it. inserting the WPSP-widget whether in elementor or in customizer works flawlessly without inserting a title – and without any issues or errors. (on my side…)
great job. 🙂
