Hello @thomasplevy thank you for your response.
I understand.
So… yes, I had disabled browser caching.
Let me show you the settings I currently have on SG Optmizer:

https://ibb.co/WgkK7zG
https://ibb.co/c1b5zBG

Is it everything correct? Is something I should turn off?Thank you.
Hello @thomasplevy
Could you please let me know if you are still trying to make it worked out on SiteGround?
My issues continued the same. So, please, let me know if you’re still looking for it.
Otherwise I will try to migrate the hole site to a different hosting.Thank you
Hi @d4z_c0nf
Yes, it is sad that it hasn’t worked out 🙁
Thanks anywayHello again @d4z_c0nf
Well, so I asked my students to test it, but some of them continued not able to access some courses.
So even thought I had been able to access the course after changing the excluded url to /* my students continue without access.Unfortunately the situation is the same then.
Thank you
Oh, I see.
I have changed it to the correct url.
So I did switch users with the student I had changed the enrollment date at user_postmeta and the site was not recognizing the new date untill now to test the new setting.
That particular one was successful. I was able to access the course as if I had change the enrollment date! Wow, that is a victory already.
Now I asked my problematic students to access the courses and see if they can actually watch the lessons.
I’ll let you know what they’ll tell me.
So, after that, aparentely, SG does cache pages to logged in users.
The other test I had is the curriculum of the course, that should be available only to enrolled users, but even visitors can see it. That continues the same. So not all solved, but the major problem can may be solved.
Let’s see. When some student get back to me, I’ll post here.
Thank you very much!Hello @d4z_c0nf
Yes, still there
Hi @d4z_c0nf
Thank you, but that Browser Caching is already disabled on my website.
That said, the issues continue the same.Thank you
Hello @thomasplevy
Thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately, I suppose it does not solve my issues.
When I open a ticket at SG, the support told me they have already reenabled the SG Optimizer and disable caching for Lifter.
Let me show you two images with the settings:
https://ibb.co/BPsPWXT
https://ibb.co/S3jBSSW
I guess Lifter is free of caching from SG Optimizer. If there are some different settings I should do there?
And if that is all correct, then, unfortunately, my issues are the same.
I tested switching user with some user I had changed the enrollment date at user_postmeta, but I still can not access the course because the system is not “reading” that her enrollment date is different.
Also, the curriculum of the course should only show to enrolled students, but it appears even to visitants.
To sum up, my situation is the same.
Thank youHello @sallory85
Thank you very much for your help!
Right now, I am exporting a few courses to my problematic students to another hosting service. It is working, altough it is a temporary “solution”.
People from LifterLMS is already studying integration with SG, so let’s first see if they can find out what’s happening.
Thank you anyway!Hi @thomasplevy
Yes, I know you don’t have access.
What I meant was: if you wish to have access in order to try to find out what may be causing those issues, then I can provide to you temporary access to my accounts.
I just thought that maybe the account SG provided to you could not be presenting the issues. So, if that’s the case, then let me know. However, if the account SG provided is presenting the issues, then great! I hope you can find out what’s happening.Right now, I contracted a different host to import/export some courses to my most problematic students. Hopefully it will be a temporary situation for me and my students. I just want you to know that the only thing I can do to help you find out what’s going on is letting you access my accounts if you need to.
Thank you!
Hello everyone and @thomasplevy
Well, my students are crazy because the problem is going on for about two months now.
So I decided to make a test: I created a new website without ever activating cache and SG Optimizer.
The last video at this link https://photos.app.goo.gl/6CLWz9J3HBaP7e6N8 will show you how it did not worked.
I already sent this video to SG support, but wanted to show you both because it may clarify a few things.
It is a new website, so I think there is less users, less files that can be in the way of the solution. Also I was able to replicate the problem (at least one of the problems!) so I believe this is helpful either. Also, let me ask you: I also thought I could change my hosting. But I am afraid that when migrating the website it could also transfer the errors. Does that make any sense?
I know it is a difficult thing to solve and efforts are been made to solve it, but I don’t know how much time I can manage my angry students. So… do you believe that migrating could solve it?Thank you!
@hristo-sg can you please check this?
@sallory85 have never used SG Optimizer before and has no problems.
However me and other users that used to use SG Optimizer are having a lot of issues.
There must be something about it.
Thanks@sallory85 , I don’t know what turning on SG optimizer should solve, but every issue I was having is still happening.
So I would wait a bit longer before turning it on, since I really don’t think the problem or whatever is there at the plugin.@sallory85 yes, I am 🙁
The 404 error page last for about 15 minutes. Now, the pages are opening normally.
Still I flush the permalinks.
Thank youSure, sorry. It is 3326251
