Yes, I know that is an issue for some users. So I’ve already started implementing a backend setting to adjust height (and to enable full-width as well). This will be part of the very next update.

What you can do in the meantime is to override the styles with your own css code:

.open-user-map .box-wrap .map-wrap {
padding-top: 100%;
}

This will make it look squared. You probably want to include this inside a media query that targets small screen sizes.

Hey @tom29 – quick update. I just fixed the bug and I’m happy to tell you that “pre-fill address field when marker is set” is implemented now as well. So just update the plugin to version 1.2.7

Thanks for your feature request! I was pondering for a while how the map could fit into woocommerce. I think when it comes to checkout process it is not beneficial to add the location via marker drop. Instead it is more reliable to be text fields as everyone is used to. Please correct me if you have a concrete use case.

Nevertheless maybe something like this could make sense: A decent pop-up during (or before) the checkout process. It would pop-up a small map (bottom right) with a location of a very recent sale. This is called a “FOMO” element and it implies that there are many sales on this website right now.

What do you think? And are you using the plugin already?

Happy happy 2022! I hope you had a good start and just wanted to let you now that I released a new plugin version (1.2.2). The PRO version has many new main features and using custom markers is one of them.

I released a major update last night including some optimisation that may target your issue. Let me know if you still experience problems.

And yeah, custom pins is definitely on my high priority list and will probably ship with the next update already.

What you did by display:none for the unwanted form fields is legit and I will actually recommend this way in the FAQ.
