In reply to: ww.wp.xz.cn user names should be able to be changedThanks as well. Actually, for anyone with basic PHP/mySQL skills changing a user name is trivial. Given that all the systems are interlinked e.g. to access jetpack you sign into wordpress, there is one login to rule them all, etc, it really wouldn’t be hard to enable username changes. Yeah, it would be a lot of work, but taking care of customers’ needs is a good thing, right? Well, it used to be.
the new business owner is prevented from getting it
What do you mean by that?
I am no longer associated with the business but the business name is assigned to me and the new owner won’t be able to get it. I have a pretty successful plugin in this user account and I am not going to start again.
Anyway, it seems it can’t be done.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Can a list of signers be displayed? All these questions are answered on the website SpeakoutPetitions.com, but here goes
Can we display a list of signers with this plugin?Of course, there is a shortcode to do that. Additionally, the list can be formatted either natively or using CSS
Ideally, with first name and first letter of last name, city and state, to keep them anonymous.
There is even an option for people to choose to be completely publicly anonymous. However the admins will see details and they will be included if the petition is sent to a target e.g. your mayor.Or, can there be an option for the signer to approve showing their name?
I think that is covered by the answers above.
I hope that answers it all for you. Feel free to contact me directly via the contact from on the website.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] Signature count not updatingThanks for using the plugin. When I sign on my test site, the page loads a thank you message and the signature count updates. Is this not what happens for you? Is the signature appearing in the signature list in the dashboard?

In reply to: [SpeakOut! Email Petitions] New Error MessageThanks for the update. Good luck with your project. Closing this thread
Hah! Thanks for that. That is the free version, I had changed it in the Pro version to 600 seconds, but hadn’t updated it in the free version.
Also, that directive should be moved so that it is only actioned if the CSV file is actually run, not if it is simply being included as part of the plugin.
I am going to fix this in an new release that will come shortly. Thanks for the update. Can you tell me where you found the max_execution_time hard coded so I can have a look.
Thanks for your message and I apologise that there is a problem.
There is a known issue for a small number of users and I haven’t been able to get to the bottom of it right now, I am in the process of selling a business.
What I have found is that the user’s server is connecting to the API (licensing) server in milliseconds as expected, but somewhere, something, is causing this delay.
There is a workaround at https://speakoutpetitions.com/faqconc/version-5-slows-down-my-plugins-page/
Note the contact request at the bottom for when I solve this.
