OK, thanks for the fast reply. Hopefully, that feature will be considered in a future update.
😀 no, the user collects bookmarks throughout our site. All the posts, events, locations, attractions, poi’s, etc also have geodata associated with them. The user has a dashboard where they can re-visit, share, print, email and MAP everything they’ve saved.

Thanks for the fast response!
I think you may have answered my question perfectly.
I’m using a plugin that saves a “bookmark” in user session, then a mapping plugin to query the custom posts’ coordinates from those “bookmarks”. The mapping plugin has an extra function that scans meta attached to posts and, if found, can build coordinates from those. That feature saves me many steps, so I was hoping to do something similar but maybe I’m approaching this incorrectly. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Events Manager - OpenStreetMaps] map pin is not draggable anymoreupon further examination, this plugin has effected the settings within EM itself. I can no longer assign pages to Add an Event or a Location. The forms are now unrecognized. This plugin does NOT remove itself, and has now brought all site production to a stand-still. The calendar we have put over 80 hours into is now useless.

In reply to: [Events Manager - OpenStreetMaps] map pin is not draggable anymoreI just disabled every other plugin on the site to test this. I still could not drag the marker and I still cannot remove the plugin without breaking every template that once included the map. I cannot re-enable google maps now either. It defaults back to the “no” radio button…

In reply to: [Events Manager - OpenStreetMaps] map pin is not draggable anymoreI have never deleted the plugin through ftp, only through wordpress admin.
In EM’s Settings >> Pages >> Other Pages, I have a page set for “add a new location”. All the fields on that form are editable, and the “search address” button will usually find an address, but will NOT drag to allow me to refine the exact placement. The location will save fine, and I can go back and edit all other data fine. I just can’t drag the marker anywhere.

In reply to: [Events Manager - OpenStreetMaps] map pin is not draggable anymoreThank you for the fast response! I can’t share a link at the moment, but this would probably help. (I don’t know why this wasn’t showing before.). These are the errors after trying to disable the plugin exactly as you said.
What type of map should be used for a draggable pin?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] #_EDITLOCATIONLINKYup, this works.
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] #_EDITLOCATIONLINKThat is how I’ve added it. It only displays “#_EDITLOCATIONLINK”. I’ve also disabled plugins, cleaned out old tables, reinstalled EM, cleared caches, etc. Also tried using single-location.php templating and an individual page template. No luck. Makes no difference if the location was created by front-end form or in admin.
Sorry for the assumption. Your efforts as “just” an enthusiastic user are greatly appreciated! I use Advanced Database Cleaner a lot anyway, so I’ll give that a try. Thanks for your help!
Aha- thanks. You are correct! I had tried MEC Calendar and Tribe Events, and I now have more than one “event” post type apparently. Would re-deleting those old plugins fix this, or would it be better to completely remove the post type and reinstall EM?
Thanks for the super-ultra-fast support!!
This plugin rocks!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Geo Mashup] errors on every page/post load…and of course, right after posting this, I find it’s a bug associated with an admin setting, under “obscure settings” > “Add map links to category lists.” Disabled it and all errors are gone.
