Maybe it is a problem with the firewall?
We had the same problem and couldn’t open and edit the menu.
We use the 7G firewall and after updating to the current version it works.
With the 7G version v1.2 was a conflict after the yoast update.
The 7G version v1.3 works perfectly.

Yes, i am speaking about the .htaccess protection.With the 7G version v1.2 was a conflict after the yoast update.
