Indeed, the content of the main body has changed, but I still cannot update the custom fields. (Even if I ignore the error, the content remains unchanged.) Currently, I’m handling this issue by disabling Rank Math SEO only when updating.

色々やってみたのですが、無理だったので、JSで現在のローケルに合わせて言語スイッチャーのURLから/ja/を抜いたりつけたりすることにしました。ひとまずは問題なさそうです。
正攻法ができれば知りたいので、解決済みにはしないでおきます。なにか方法をご存じの方はご教授いただけますと幸いです。
functions.phpに記載するまでもなく、パーマリンクのカスタム構造を「/blog/%post_id%」にすればいけました。お騒がせしました。
