    Thanks Bob that article was helpful. I went ahead and made the requested changes. I made sure everything was up to date and that I had all updates including WordPress and jetpack. I then cleared my cache, restarted my computer, and went back in and I still nothing under related posts just like the image I showed earlier. I also immediately got an email notice from WordPress that Jetpack has had a fatal error on my site and this is the details of that.

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 87 of the file /nas/content/live/amyjasperson/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/vendor/jetpack-autoloader/class-php-autoloader.php. Error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘/nas/content/live/amyjasperson/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/vendor/automattic/jetpack-roles/src/class-roles.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear/php:/usr/share/php’)

    Did I totally break it? My website still looks okay, thank God. And on my dashboard, I don’t see anything wrong.

    I am currently using the theme that comes standard because it imports it into a showit theme on my website. I downloaded the plugin Theme Switcha and I don’t really know what to do from there.

    Hi Stef,
    I don’t even know where to find or edit this code stuff. If you scroll down to the article you shared, my related posts’ section doesn’t look like this. It is blank.

    “Hide the post date on the Related Posts
    The appearance of Related Posts can now be changed in the customizer, by going to Appearance → Customize → Related Posts and then viewing a single post:”

    Here is a link to what mine looks like:

    That did it Steve. Thanks so much. I didn’t even know that little option existed. 🙂
