In reply to: [Order Splitter for WooCommerce] Split orders with cron@flexaftale I have tried with and without the Hide Child Order on Thank You Page option. When this option is turned OFF, splitted orders are visible on the Thank You page along with parent order. Screenshot 1
And when this option is turned ON, only child orders are hidden on the Thank You page and parent order remains the same in both cases. Screenshot 2
So if you turn ON Hide Child Order on Thank You Page, it will not confuse your customers. The parent order will be visible with all of its items after split.
Please let us know if this fulfill you requirement. If not, you can record a video or provide screenshots of your required scenario.
Note: If you have turned ON Remove Items from Parent Order then the parent order will appear differently as splitted items will be removed from parent order.

@farmermark to lock a location for an item on frontend, check the Enable default location checkbox and then check the Lock frontend location to default from settings page.
On the product edit page, select any location as default under the location column. Your selected default location will be locked on the frontend for that product.

Please confirm if you are using any plugin to mange stock. Try the same scenario with deactivating our plugin and check if you still face the issue.
It would be more helpful for us in reproducing the issue if you record a video of your issue.
