In reply to: Error establishing a database connectionNow my problem is I get this whenever I try to open the site or WP Admin:
Hmmm… can’t reach this page
localhost refused to connect.
This most likely means the local web server in LocalWP is not actually running. Could be:
1. Your LocalWP service failed to start
2. Another app is running (using the same ports)
3. Antivirus or firewall blocked Local
4. The site environment got corrupted during setup
I would recommend recreating the site, reading the LocalWP help docs, or contacting WPEngine for support.Hey @juraj995 ,
I’ve checked the Facebook debugger to see what they can fetch from your site, and it returns a 403 error: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kasonline.eu%2F
- Bad Response CodeURL returned a bad HTTP response code.
- Response Code 403
This more of a hosting issue than Yoast.
We recommend contacting your web host to check and fix the error. Once the error is resolved, please check again and let us know if the image is getting fetched by Facebook.
Hey @juraj995
The Social tab is just under the Yoast metabox. Go edit your post first, scroll down to the Yoast metabox, and then click the Social tab, then you can upload an image there (
og:image).If no
og:imageis provided, it falls back to other sources, like your featured image (post thumbnail), first large image in the content, or any other images it can scrape.Ensure that your post thumbnail uses a commonly supported image format like PNG or JPG, and use the minimum recommended dimensions of 1200 x 630 pixels (or a 1.91:1 ratio).
Customizing your Facebook Open Graph (OG) tags is easy, and we have a helpful article here to guide you, so you can explicitly assign an
og:imagetag for your post, giving your post a bigger chance for Facebook to fetch yourog:image.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: plugins_apiHey there,
I think there’s no confirmed change to plugins_api() itself in WordPress 7.0-beta1. The function still accepts a locale parameter and should return translated plugin info.
Could be likely due to how locale/language packs are loaded in the beta (translation fallback)?
