Unfortunately, using the CDN feature in ShortPixel Image Optimizer will only deliver the optimized and next-gen images via our CDN, so for the features you mentioned you would need to use ShortPixel Adaptive Images.

From what I can see your issue is related to ShortPixel Image Optimizer and not ShortPixel Adaptive Images.
Once an image has been replaced the AVIF files aren’t generated automatically, so we generally recommend optimizing the image again to have the AVIF files generated.
As for clearing the CDN cache for the image, could you please tell us if you encountered any errors once you’ve used the “f_remove+” parameter? Did you encounter the same issue even after trying it multiple times in a row?
Could you please also click the broom icon next to your domain in your ShortPixel Dashboard > Associate domains? This should purge the general CDN cache.

Could you please provide us a page where we can see this issue in action and also tell us which next-gen delivery method are you using? This is the first time someone has reported such an issue so we would definitely like to check it ASAP!

Could you please tell us what do you mean by “it reverted back to the initial configuration” ? Did the file get overwritten somehow or the plugin got back to the previous values even with numitems being configured to 1?
