Some more notes:
The issue appears only if the track is not loaded completely. If you pause it – the current position will be lost and the track will start to play again from the beginning.
On PC, android, and ios – there is no issue.

I assume it does because jPlayer is working fine there.

Flash fall back is working in jPlayer 2.9. It’s a problem only in WP plugin. Even examples from here (http://mp3-jplayer.com/playlist-players/) are not working with flash (e.g. IE8).
