In reply to: [WooCommerce] exclude products (category or tag) from shop pageThanks so much!
I tried to insert the code, didn’t seem to do anything. I think I tried similar code from a forum a while back without success.
I’ll read up on the product collection blocks and how to do it that way. If not I’ll head to Slack or get in touch directly.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] exclude products (category or tag) from shop pageThanks.
“Hide from shop” takes the product from the home page (great!), but also from a category or tag results page – essentially no longer on the site at all. I only need it hidden from the initial default shop page, but not when a tag or category is called.I suspect the product collection block would have similar results?
The reason being that, say, bulk goods are cluttering my main shop page – https://farmhousepettreats.com.au/
so I only wanted them on the bulk page – https://farmhousepettreats.com.au/bulk/Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Strange Error on order completeSame issue popped up 2 days ago for us. We don’t run siteground or any optimizer.
Could not retrieve order. OrderEndpoint.php:459 Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square e gift cardsThanks, that’s what I feared – we’re looking for cards that will work in person at our store or markets, as well as online from our website. It seems that’s too difficult :/
I’ll raise a request with Square to fix this! 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Square overriding Woo inventory levelsThank you! If that’s how it works, we’ll update stock via Square.
(that’s still a pain, and not intuitive to Woo being the SoR, but at least now we know).Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WooCommerce] category page showing links/snippets to other pages? That worked a treat for all but the ‘about us’ page (that also shows an ancient photo not used on that page), but I can live with this.
Thanks!

I run that theme on several other sites and haven’t had it do this, but I’ll add the code for now and investigate further.thanks again!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] category page showing links/snippets to other pages?I think you misread my request.
The category display SHOWS links to pages at the bottom of its display. I do NOT want that, particularly as it’s showing links to pages that are not linked to anywhere else on the site.
Why would a woocommerce default show links to those pages? It makes no sense – and why would I be left with an expense of hiring someone to turn off this stupidity??

In reply to: cannot modify header error msgHi,
this evening I’ve found something more disturbing… I have 7 wordpress sites, all different domains, all on the same hosting provider and they ALL have the same problem. Few different versions too.🙁
