Well, I’m not sure what happened. But since yesterday night, everything is functioning normally again: Pingdom and Uptimerobot can do their job without problem. And I find no trace of their being blocked in the Cleantalk interface. So all is for the best.
Thank you for your excellent software!
Hello Serge,
Thank you! I’ll have a look at it later in the day. I made this request based on Pingdom logs. I have a load of 403, say, hundreds, with html pages generated when their bots were rejected, saying (other examples):
(…)
<div class=”container”>
<h1 class=”main”>Security FireWall is activated for your IP 185.152.65.167</h1>
<h2></h2>
<h2 class=”second”>Blocked by DoS prevention system</h2>
(…)
(…)
<div class=”container”>
<h1 class=”main”>Security FireWall is activated for your IP 169.51.80.85</h1>
<h2></h2>
<h2 class=”second”>Blocked by DoS prevention system</h2>
(…)But the last occurrence is now from yesterday night. Something seems to have been changed since then.
Best regards, Alain

In reply to: Interface unresponsive, medias deadWait, no, I had the console open on the source. On the page itself, Chrome gave me an error related to McAfee (sorry, I lost it, I copied it here but but I cleared the caches before sending it, so the system flushed my message and asked me to reloggin).
Anyway, it was about a Query String and I remembered that I had a configuration about that on the CDN (StackPath), that is, to ignore them. I changed that, cleared the browsers’ chaches and the problem on the blog disappeared. In a nutshell.
Just one more note: the error persisted in Chrome until I got rid of McAfee’s Webadvisor extension. But I have the same extension in FF and there, no error. Oh well.Problem solved!

In reply to: Interface unresponsive, medias deadThank you JNashHawkins!
Switched to php 5.6, no change yet.
Nothing in the logs. Well, nothing special in Apache, no php error 5.6, 7.0 or 7.2 today (should be a good day…). And no error, no warning, and no info in the console, for example with my blank Medias page.
I have 0 plugin activated by now. I only restored the theme. The plug-in itself is free, but it really functions only in conjunction with paid cloud services. The free test period is 7 days. Then it costs some 8$ a year (for one website).

Problem solved! Thank you!
Done. Thank you!
It worked. I can log in normally. But I now have that error message:
Errors:
2018-08-12 15:20:15: Error occured while sending sending security logs. Error: SERVER_ERROR NO: 11 MSG: Service disabled, please go to Dashboard https://cleantalk.org/my?product_id=4
2018-08-12 15:20:17: Error occured while sending sending firewall logs. Error: SERVER_ERROR NO: 11 MSG: Service disabled, please go to Dashboard https://cleantalk.org/my?product_id=4Whereas according to my files, I should have:
Unlimited antispam protection for 5 websites, fr23.25/year (+3 months for free). Extra package, Fr28.24/year. License period Oct 01 2017 – Jan 01 2021.Ah, I didn’t see your post. Sorry. I’m going to do that and let you know.
The block stays there even if I uncheck the WAF in the plugin.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Clarification on default editor in upcoming versions of WPThank you, Birgit. I already installed the Classic Editor on my WP blogs, and Disable Gutenberg on those used by other parties. But if WordPress is going to make Gutenberg its DEFAULT editor, I’d rather look for alternatives to WordPress. And I doubt that this would be the right place to discuss that question.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Clarification on default editor in upcoming versions of WPI second GP’s message.
When I first tried Gutenberg, I thought it looked like some basic version of those web software you have to use to cobble together a newsletter, a mailing or a form on Mailchimp or the like. Add a title block, then a lead and a text block, then an image block, and all over again… And here, apparently, even the code will then look like that. This just cannot be the way to go?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gutenberg] Revert to old normal html? Thanks. Of course. But it doesn’t help when you have converted a page or article. The new code stays there and you have to search for an old revision.
Hello @safronik,
Thank you! It works now. And you’re right, this blog was still using an old PHP version. I must have forgotten that one. I now updated it to PHP 7.0.
Best regards,
AlainIt works indeed. Thank you!
