One last question, how do I just show the invoices section? I tried [pmpro_account sections=”invoices”] but that seems to pull in membership and account details too.
Hi Andrew,
So idiot moment here. On the account I was testing on the first and last name fields were not filled in. So once I filled those in thing started to populate, makes senses.
Best,
Allison
I tried that and it worked too, the problem is I cannot get the [pmpro_member] shortcode to load or with variables such as [pmpro_member field=”first_name”] for example. I would like to break the membership account information into my own segments so I can customize the layout.
Best,
Allison
That’s great, thanks for letting me know. Yes please let me know once a fix is available. If possible even before an update goes out for the plugin a temporary patch would be helpful in the meantime.
Everyone on the site is a member of some sort. The site is a closed site where it requires login. What is happening right now is members are not seeing the events they should be seeing that are marked for them. Turning off the filters in searches and archives and show experts to non-members to yes will show all the events again but that’s the problem it will show all the events to members who should not see them. For example membership 1 should see red events, membership 2 should see green events only. If I turn off the filters membership 1&2 will see both red and green events which will be confusing to them as they are not allowed to attend all events based on their membership level.
So right now as it is members are not seeing any events even if the events are marked for them to be able to see.
As for SiteGround I did turn off all caching and browser cache refreshed the page and it did not fix the issue. Can you test as well by creating two membership levels and filtering events by them and see if you can only see events meant for you membership? Also what caching if any do you have turned on in SiteGround?
Lastly, if it helps I can provide you temporary backend access to the site to see if for yourself?

Thank you.
The site is on SiteGround and was using their caching optimizer plugin. I turned off caching and flushed the cache several times. No change. I also disabled the plugin entirely and flushed the browser cache too, no change. I also flushed and turned off all caching on the server end of SiteGround such as NGINX Direct Delivery, Dynamic Cache and Memcached and no change.
One thing I have noticed is when you tab from List to Month to Day view and it doesn’t show any events, then refresh the page they pop back up again. Not sure if that is a cache related issue or not.
So I tested it and it shows all the events now but now it doesn’t filter events to show based on membership. It just shows all the events which is not ideal. We need it to be filtered by membership.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events disappear when switching calendar views@d0153 So I did my conflict test and have determined it’s the Paid Memberships Pro – Events Add On plugin. This is an addon for the membership plugin that is used on the site to restrict access to certain events based on membership.
Should I contact those devs?

Sorry for the overdue reply to this.
So regarding caching. It is turned on via SiteGround caching. But even after turning that off and clearing the cache multiple times the issues still persists.
- PHP version is 7.4.33
- WordPress version 6.3.1
- The Events Calendar version is 6.2.2
- Theme is BuddyBoss Version: 2.4.20
I cannot share the direct link as this site is locked behind membership and login access. In order for you to view the site content I would need to provide you with login access.
I have not yet tested for plugin conflicts but will do that next and let you know how it goes.
Best,
Allison

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Error website crashed@d0153 Thanks for checking in. Turns out it was also a caching issue with Cloudflare, it was caching the error page which made it look like it wasn’t fixed. The site is working now.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Error website crashedA bit more context to my issue:
These are all the events calendar plugins that are on the site:
-The Events Calendar
-The Events Calendar Countdown Addon
-The Events Calendar Extension: Event Titles Link to Website URL –
-The Events Calendar Extension: Relabeler
-LearnDash LMS – The Events Calendar Integration
-Event Tickets
-Paid Memberships Pro – Events Add OnI deactivated all of those plugins, nothing changed. I also reverted Events Calendar to 6.1.1, nothing changed.
Really at a loss here. 🙁

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Error website crashed@willoftheweb odd I don’t see that plugin listed. Seems like everything I try the error message won’t go away. I can’t even get it to show in the logs.
