In reply to: [LuckyWP Table of Contents] Bug following latest updateHello,
Yes, the issue seems to have been resolved.
Thank you.
It’s the theme…
We’ll see what we can do at our end re: finding a way to change that url structure.

In reply to: Published date not showing in admin’s ‘single post’ screenCan’t figure out how to delete this question.
The problem has been resolved by way of an adjustment to the date settings – which should have been obvious…

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Banner/Widget images not served as WebPWill look into that.
Thank you for your reply and detailed explanation.
Unfortunately, we don’t.
We’ll see what we can do at our end. Thanks again for your prompt assistance.
No, nothing.
It’s puzzling.
We’ll see what we can come up with at our end.
And your prompt replies have been much appreciated.
Thanks again for the quick reply.
Not on the top menu bar, though I did click on save/delete cache a few times while trying different checking/unchecking Autoptimize boxes.
I’ve just reactivated Autoptimize. Unfortunately, the issue continues.
The site is on a dedicated server, but could it be an issue with the server’s settings?
Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Sorry, forgot to say in the initial post that all plugins were deactivated (12 of them, including Supercache) after installing Autoptimize and noticing the increased latency, especially at the backend.
We also tried switching to the default WP theme to make sure it wasn’t a conflict with the theme we’re using – which, according to its documentation and forum, is 100% compatible with Autoptimize.
We’re assuming (we’re no experts) the latency is a consequence of this mysterious call for the nonexistent “altfg.com/film/film/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php” file. (The actual file is found at “altfg.com/film/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php” – only one “film” subdirectory.)
Any ideas on what could be causing this faulty call?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [SEO Auto Linker] Autolink not recognizing apostropheThank you for the reply, @arjanolsder.
Unfortunately, version 1.3 broke the site!
Everything within the *post itself* disappears. We checked the code view, but couldn’t find any error messages. Just a small blank space where the text should be.
It should be noted that the header, post title, sidebar, comments, tags, footer all remain in place. The text and its illustrations/images are the only elements that vanish.
We tried testing one single auto-link url – a very simple keyword. It didn’t work. The text disappeared again.
Any ideas as to what could be wrong and how it can be fixed? Else, is there a way for us to downgrade to the previous version, which was working just fine except for the apostrophe issue?
Any assistance would be *much appreciated*, as, much to our unhappiness, we’ve had to deactivate the plugin. (If you visit the site you may not be able to notice it because we use a cache plugin; so the auto-links should still be there in most posts.)

In reply to: [SEO Auto Linker] Autolink not recognizing apostropheThere doesn’t seem to be anyone moderating this particular forum, but just in case, I should add that Vladimir Prelovac’s SEO Smart Links plugin initially had the same issue.
Words with apostrophes (e.g., “O’Hara”) and words begun or ending with a “special character” (e.g., “Érik” or “René” – both “e”s have an acute accent) would be bypassed by the auto-linker.
A more recent version of the plugin (as in, about 5 years ago or so) solved both problems. (Something to do with “stripslashes”??)
If anyone knows how that can be accomplished with the SEO Auto-Linker plugin, please post a reply here.
Thank you.
(Posting this reply here as well, in case anyone bumps into this post in the future.)

Sorry for the (double) post in this forum.I should have looked into this issue in a more efficient manner.
Spent a couple of hours last night looking into the matter, but I forgot to deactivate one plugin that I used/activated yesterday, “Move Comments.”
That was the culprit.
Apologies and thanks for the quick reply and for the great plugin.

Clarification:
When I say the html disappears after it’s saved, I’m referring to the Ad Inserter settings page.
The window where the code is inserted goes totally black (“blank”) after saving.
Apologies for a very belated thank you.

In reply to: [Imaguard] Great plugin — but I can't get it to work!Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
The plugin doesn’t redirect at all. Nothing happens. The site’s images are fully loaded on Google Images, whether we have the “non-aggressive” or the “aggressive” option checked.
Should I send you the site’s .htaccess files & site info via email?
Please advise.
Thank you.
