  • Hi @diegoxp,

Yes, you can host your videos on BunnyCDN.

When adding a video in VidShop, instead of selecting Media Library, choose Custom URL and paste the direct video URL from BunnyCDN. The video will then load from your CDN and work normally inside VidShop.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that Media Sweep didn’t meet your expectations.

We’d like to clarify an important point: Media Sweep does not only list media files. The plugin is designed to detect usage and provide detailed reference information for each file.

For every media item, you can click the info (ℹ️) icon next to the file to see:

    • Whether the file is used or unused
    • Exactly where it’s used (post, page, custom field, plugin, theme, or custom database table)
    • Detection results from core WordPress tables as well as custom/plugin tables (when Deep Scan is enabled)

This information is precisely what allows users to confidently decide whether a file is safe to remove.

If this information wasn’t visible during your scan, it usually means:

    • Deep Scan was not enabled, or
    • The scan was interrupted by server or security restrictions

We’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to help you review your scan results and ensure the plugin is used as intended. Please feel free to open a support ticket or contact us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist.

Thank you again for your feedback.

    Hi @mmakenzi ,

Just a quick update — we’ve released a new update that fully fixes the RTL issues, including the carousel layout.
The plugin now works correctly in RTL across all layouts.

We’ve also added full Arabic translation in this update.

Please update to the latest version.

    Best regards

Thanks for sharing this use-case, that’s a great point.

You’re absolutely right, inventorying exposed documents and identifying unused files is an important first step for ADA Title II compliance, and this is exactly the type of scenario Media Sweep can help with.

    Hi @mmakenzi ,

Yes, VidShop is compatible with RTL (Right-to-Left) websites, and most layouts work very well in RTL mode.

That said, we’re aware of a few minor styling issues specifically in the carousel layout when used with RTL. Our team is already working on fixing these, and an update will be released within the next few days.

    Please stay tuned.

    Best regards

    Hi @papifilip12 ,
We’re really sorry to hear that Media Sweep didn’t work as expected for you.

A scan stalling for that long usually indicates that something on the site is blocking the process. such as limited server resources or a security plugin preventing access to certain database tables. Under normal conditions, Media Sweep completes scans in minutes.

We’d be happy to investigate this for you.
Please open a support ticket on the plugin’s support page or contact us directly at [email protected] so our team can check your setup and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We’re always here to help and would appreciate the chance to fix this for you.

    Thank you.

    Hi @kalle1989 ,

Thanks a lot for your kind words!

    Regarding MailPoet images:
Please enable Deep Scan in the scan options. This allows the plugin to detect image usage inside custom plugins and their database tables. Without Deep Scan, the scan only checks the default WordPress tables and may show these images as unused.

Just select your scan type → enable Deep Scan → run the scan again.

Let me know if you need help.

    Best regards

    Hi @bestadventurer ,
We’re really sorry for the experience you had.

If the scan always stops at 40%, it means it collected the files but couldn’t process them.
Please check the log file or the browser request/response to see the exact error.

If you’d like, you can contact us directly at [email protected], and we’ll assist you further.

    Hi @bestadventurer ,

At the moment, if the scan page is closed or the process is interrupted for any reason, the status may remain stuck on “In Progress” even though the scan actually stopped.

Please make sure to keep the scan page open until it finishes.
During the scan, you should see the files being processed and the progress updating in real time. If the page is not updating, then the scan is no longer running.

Feel free to try again and let me know if the issue persists.

    Hi @edviser ,
Thank you for the update, and I really appreciate your kind words.

About the images inside Responsive Lightbox & Gallery:
Some gallery plugins store image data in custom tables or custom format, so they’re not detected yet. I’ll explore adding compatibility for it in a future update.

Thanks again for your effort and for considering a 5-star review. it truly helps a lot.

    Hi @edviser ,

Thank you for the detailed explanation.

From what you described, the issue is not coming from Media Sweep itself.
The 502 error and the “The response is not a valid JSON response” message indicate that something on your server is blocking or modifying the WordPress REST API response before it reaches the browser.

Since removing one security header fixed the 502 error, it’s very likely that another server-level configuration is still affecting the API response.

Media Sweep relies on the REST API to start a new scan, so if the response is interrupted or altered, WordPress returns “not a valid JSON response”.

Could you please check if the REST API is working on your site by opening this URL in your browser?

    https://YOUR-SITE.com/wp-json/

If it doesn’t load correctly or returns an error, then the issue is definitely coming from the server configuration.

Let me know what you find, and I’ll be happy to help you further.
