@danamv that worked!! Thank you so much.
Have a great day.
I’m having a similar issue with this site: https://drevartslibrarytest.com
The dropdown in the main menu (“digital”) is obscured by the bottom section of the header and the top section of the header obscures the WP dropdowns when logged into admin.
I tried the above fix and a similar one that @danamv sent last week –
.header-main-inner, .header-main-inner a:not(.button), .header-main-inner .navbar-toggle {
z-index: 99999 !important;
},– but neither worked. This problem just popped up while developing. It didn’t always work this way and I’m not sure what changed.
I already have some additional CSS in the customizer for my social icons – could that be an issue? Could it be a plug-in?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Neve] Header sections blocking other sectionsHi @danamv,
I tried this fix and it doesn’t work for me. The site is live on a test URL now for trouble shooting etc. I actually had taken out the header bottom in the design so that this wouldn’t be a problem, but I added it back in so you can see what I mean. And now that I’ve migrated it to the new host, all of the dropdown menus from the WP header when you’re logged in (for customizing etc) are also covered. It’s so weird. If you scroll down past my site’s header then the WP header dropdowns work.
Any other ideas? Here’s the link: https://drevartslibrarytest.com
Thank you!!

Thank you! All entries are correct in wp-config.phpI just downloaded and installed WP to create this localhost site in Nov. how did I end up with old version of PHP? Can I update that somehow?
If I login to localhost site admin and upgrade? I still have the site running just fine on my localhost. Used a copy of the files and export of the database to migrate to host.
Can you tell I am new to this? Sorry. Thanks for helping.

Thanks for the reply! I have double checked the username and password. They are correct. My host (infintyfree.net) provided a URL for db_host not localhost or an IP address. And that is correct.The username and password were autogenerated by host when I set up the database.
Not sure how to ask my host to install the mysqli library for PHP. I’m using free hosting right now until the site is finished.

In reply to: Trouble Exporting database using phpmyadmin, MAMP, localhostYeah, I got that page. There’s a “quick” option and a “custom” option. I got the above when I used “quick”. I did see a vid on YouTube that said I should copy that, paste it into a text editor and save as .sql
I did that, but haven’t done anything with is yet.
Should I try using the “custom” option?
Thanks again btw…

In reply to: Trouble Exporting database using phpmyadmin, MAMP, localhostThanks for answering. I don’t see where I can tell it that. It gives me “back” and “refresh” options. At the bottom of the page I’m seeing a tab called “console” when I click it it reads “press ctrl+enter to execute query. Is that the spot?
OMG, I will feel so dumb if that was it all along! 🙂

In reply to: [Neve] Problem using Duplicator plugin with Neve@plantprogrammer sorry – I checked out there for a few days 😉
I can’t even find that in myPHPadmin on my original site using MAMP with localhost. I don’t even see where the theme shows in the database. I’m a mess, lol!
I’m just trying to get the site I’ve been working on accessible to my team to share the progress. Tried ngrok, which I can’t get to download properly or unzip and so I tried local by flywheel. Which works, but then the problem above occurs. I’ve been all over the internet looking for answers. So confused. This is my first time creating a site using localhost.
Any insight would be great. Can I manually make a copy that I can drag into local?
I honestly don’t care how it gets done. So frustrating.
Thanks.
