Hi there – this is exactly the same problem I have, however, I don’t have any understanding of JS errors or debugging in general. Is there another way it can be fixed?

The initial option in the drop down is ‘person’ or ‘organisation’. I select ‘person’.
Below this is another drop down ‘Name’ and it asks me to select a user (from a drop down). It indicates for a while that it is loading (with a few dots flashing in sequence). The end result is always ‘no options’.
Under the ‘All Users’ I have my username and it’s marked as ‘Administrator’.
I deactivated Yoast and then reinstalled the plugin. It didn’t change anything.

Thanks, I ran the plugin and took some actions suggested. However, still no option on the dropdown under ‘person’ in either the wizard or the #Search Appearance’ tab.
Is there anything else you can suggest?

1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes updated?
Yes – I check for updates, I don’t have many plugins to be honest.2. If you go to Users-Your Profile and save it and then clear all your caching does the issue resolve?
No3. Are you using any kind of plugin related to users or roles?
Not that I am aware of. It’s just me as the userJust to add, when I launched the configuration wizard I selected person and I have exactly the same issue. It doesn’t give me an option to select a user in the dropdwon, just ‘no option’.
I’ve been on my WordPress profile page and there’s my username (greyed out), name etc all filled in.

I’ll try and get a screenshot sorted but I think this can be easily explained, so stay with me.
I use the Yoast SEO menu on my sidebar and select the Search Appearance option.
This gives me the option to set the title separator, SEO Title etc for my website. Towards the bottom of the options is a section marked ‘Knowledge Graph & Schema.org”.
Under this it asks me to choose if I am a person or business, I select ‘person’. Below that is a drop down menu marked ‘select a user’. I presume when this is clicked on it gives an option to choose. When I click on it I get a ‘loading’ message appearing on the drop down and then ‘no options’.
Can you tell me why it is generating this and not a user?

Hi there, I can select ‘person’ in that tab but after doing so the drop down states that there are no options. Does this help?
