Good afternoon @jhatcher12,
We appreciate your follow-up. For your privacy and to better assist you with your specific configurations, we’ll need to continue troubleshooting via email. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can provide you with more detailed support.
I recommend including a list of your active plugins, and if possible a screenshot of the System Info tab in the AWeber plugin admin screen so that we can hit the ground running.
Thanks again for reaching out, and have an awesome evening!
Good Morning,
For troubleshooting or as an alternative, you can try using the shortcode to display your form instead of the widget on your website. See our knowledge base article for more information.
If you need deeper troubleshooting after checking those items, please contact us directly at [email protected] so we can take a more detailed and individualized look, without exposing more customer-specific details on the forum. Thanks for reaching out!
Good Morning,
This appears to be an artifact of your staging environment. The production version of your client’s site is using the same version of our plugin that is used on the staging site, and seems to be working okay.
Looking briefly at the HTML on your staging site, there are a few differences when compared against the production version. Most importantly for this topic, the Javascript that’s displaying rather than executing is not surrounded by <script> tags – I recommend taking a look at any theme updates or other changes you have in staging that could affect the rendering of the widget HTML.
If you need deeper troubleshooting after checking those items, please contact us directly at [email protected] so we can take a more detailed and individualized look, without exposing more customer-specific details on the forum.
Thanks for reaching out!
Thank you for working with us directly to dive into this topic. I’ll share the workaround here, so that others who may run into this can benefit until a new update is released to address the issue.
- In certain circumstances, the link to Reauthorize the plugin to your AWeber account will link to the website root instead of the WordPress site root. This is okay for many installations, but plenty of WordPress sites are installed in a subfolder: “www.example.com/blog” instead of “www.example.com”.
- The temporary workaround is to edit the URL in your browser address bar: in the example, “www.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aweber.php&reauth=true” would become “www.example.com/blog/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aweber.php&reauth=true”
Thanks again for reaching out! I’ll update here once a new version of the plugin is available which will address this issue.
Good morning,
You can use custom HTML to create a horizontal sign up form for your web site. Please reach out to our Customer Solutions team at [email protected] for help that will be more specific to your needs than can be offered in this forum.
We also have live chat and telephone options if you prefer: https://www.aweber.com/contact-us.htm
Have an awesome day!

Good afternoon,
Thanks again for reaching out. This issue has been addressed in v7.3.9 of the plugin which was released yesterday.
Have an awesome day, and if anything else comes up please feel free to get back in touch.
Good evening! This issue has been fixed in v7.3.8 of the plugin, which is available to download today.
I’d be happy to look further into this. To protect your account information, please email [email protected] from the email account you use to sign in to your AWeber account, and I’ll check it out.
Good afternoon and thanks for getting in touch again!
This is a known issue and our team will be evaluating a fix for inclusion in a future release of the plugin. Any updates will be posted here, or you can write to [email protected] to open a ticket that will notify you directly when a fix is released.
Thanks again for your feedback, and have a great afternoon!
Thanks for getting in touch!
This question would be best addressed by our Customer Solutions team, who will be able to look at the specifics of your WordPress setup and your AWeber account. You can email [email protected], or visit our site for other options including Live Chat and phone support: https://www.aweber.com/contact-us.htm
Have a great afternoon!
Thanks for your feedback! The team will have a look at this, and I’ll alert you to any updates via this thread.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for reaching out. In debug, you are seeing deprecation notices which are not fatal PHP errors. The plugin should be functioning normally because those notices are purely informational and you should not encounter these notices in your production environment (production web sites typically have notices disabled).
A future version of our plugin will address these deprecations. If you’d like to be notified when that update is released, you can contact us directly at [email protected]
Have a great evening!
Good afternoon,
Thanks for reaching out.
The PMP plugin works independently of the AWeber plugin, so I wouldn’t expect interactions like this to occur. In order to investigate further, I’d need to dig more deeply into the specifics of what you’re seeing in your account, which would be more appropriately handled via our API Support channel. Please reach out to [email protected] with the name of the list(s) this has occurred on, and a few example subscribers so I can dive right in.
I’ll be looking out for your message.
Thanks again, and have a great evening!
