In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Lots of rest API requestsI am getting hammered with requests from
18.219.133.99/wp-json/jetpack/v4/sync/spawn-syncYour allow list here listed
- 122.248.245.244/32
- 54.217.201.243/32
- 54.232.116.4/32
- 192.0.80.0/20
- 192.0.96.0/20
- 192.0.112.0/20
- 195.234.108.0/22
- 192.0.64.0/18
A dozen threads here about this very issue and numerous posts form numerous people over numerous years indicating that the IPs hammering their servers are NOT in the listed range.https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/
NOT ONE OF YOU who work for WP or develop this plugin has addressed that subject. You just ignore it and stammer on about the requests being expected and part of of the software. Insanity.
If these requests are legitimate then why are they not coming from the listed IP ranges? The people asking for support appear to be more informed than the people providing the support.Work in progress.
Yes it renders both on the form preview as well.

Fresh install of the FREE version – experiments tab missing… So maybe answer the question now?
Same issues as well as these
– Arrow facing wrong direction on some blocks.
– “left” option ignored, icon shows on right no matter what
– arrows or plusses not rendering at all in Safari.Looking at other posts about disappearing blocks, other buggy blocks and this particular block being messed up six way from Sunday… I think I will be simply moving on. Best of luck.

In reply to: [WPIDE - File Manager & Code Editor] This plugin doesn’t work in localhostThanks –
I see a fair number of current (going back 9 months or so) threads reporting “blank” screens for all menu items as well as a recent (kinda big) complaint about bugs. In any case, I gave it the 20 minute tire-kick, couldn’t fix it and have moved on.
Sorry if I mistook context and assumed that all “blank” interface reports are related to the same issue and instead may be any number of various issues or incompatibilities that manifest as “blank” screens.
I get it – your plugin deals directly with the file system and that can make things somewhat tough. Maybe time to refactor the abstraction and discovery layer to be more adaptable…
Good luck – thanks for responding so quickly. I will revisit one day, but currently am moving on so that I may proceed with development.- This reply was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by beananimal.

In reply to: [WPIDE - File Manager & Code Editor] This plugin doesn’t work in localhostThis is not a Windows Hosting issue!
Clean install Bitnami on Lightsail – PHP 7.4 WP 5.x and 6.1.1
Same behavior. Not bothering to post logs and do your job for you. The behavior is very easily reproducible. At this point you guys need to do your own due diligence, your plugin is a mess.

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] fields inline on row, not columnizedThank you for the response.
I understand how the column settings in the containers and the predefined class names (both the old and new style) work.
Fixed width columns and expanding/collapsing field widths are not giving me the results that i am looking for.
I would really like to have fields sized to fit the content and not responsive. As well,I would like to Have them adjacent to each other separated by fixed margin, regardless of the screen width.
How do I contact you for custom/paid help? I do understand that I am asking for something a bit more complex than expected for basic support.

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Dumpster fireJames:
No offense – but your response is actually part of what appears to be the problem. Every time somebody points out these issues, moderators and devs deflect instead of actually looking into the issue.
The Image and Image gallery blocks are a disaster on a fresh install with a default theme. While the side effects caused by CSS fixes may not be the same, the core issues still are.
AGAIN
1) Captions have moved from below the images to OVER the images.
2) In many instances captions do not wrap or align as expected.
3) Captions cause SCROLL bars in some cases, depending on text length and image gallery height…Those are just some of the issues I have had.
A quick search yields many more – and in every case, the end user is blamed instead of the block coding and css… classic.
etc. etc.
