Thanks guys, i have opened the same ticket with Theme Fusion.

Not too hopeful it will be addressed though. If i cant fix the errors i may have to look at using an alternative solution for creating events on the site which is a shame.

Its also a shame that Avada theme and the events calendar dont work closer together in regards to updates. If Theme fusion/avada dont keep up with the updates being made with the events calendar plugin whats the point?

No unfortunately i didnt. Since this post ive had several other issues with the plugin and not getting any support to fix so will possibly abandon this plugin soon!

I have big problems with the plugin not providing accurate directions anymore. At first it was awesome. I had the plugin setup to provide the directions rather than sending them too google maps for them. At first the directions were spot on, 100% accurate.

Then something changed. Not sure if its anything to do with the development websites i had made which were using the same plugin. These development websites were using the map plugin for the development of a search plugin. Its either coinsidence or the cause but when the search was being developed to work with Mapress it seemed to stop providing me with accurate “My Location” positions on the map. Before they were very accurate. Now they are miles away from my actual position.

This was disappointing. And after speaking with the Mappress developer i was none the wiser for fixing it. Was told it wasnt the fault of Mappress plugin and that was that.

Because im heavily committed with Mappress throughout the website i decided to stick with it. I changed the way directions are provided and let google maps take care of it instead of Mappress.

A few months have passed since then and now it seems i have another problem. This time its a big problem which cant be ignored.

As of a few weeks ago. 99% of the time. The mappress maps dont load/render on the page. I get the box, a faint outline of the box and the map pin/icon. And thats it!

I have 200+ mappress maps on the website and would like to continue using the plugin but as it is its just not practical. I may look for an alternative soon but not sure there are any decent replacements. I have some developer tools with my wordpress installation and Google maps generator via shortcode is included and the maps load and are rendered just fine. The only difference being the directions are always given by visiting the google maps website using my default one.

Id really like to get Mappress working on the website again and backk to giving directions from the website rather than google maps but without paying a developer to look at the issue its not being resolved for me.

I have posted my issue with the maps not loading in the support forum but not hopeful it will be read or looked at by anyone who could help or suggest a fix.

Hi Benjamin, i wasnt expecting you to provide these changes as free support. Id hoped that you or your team of developers would be able to develop the plugin for me as you are the guys that designed it and know your way around it.

Im happy to hire any developer to get this work done. Do you have anyone you could recommend?

I will post an advert in the forum and hopefully someone will be able to assist with getting this done for me.

I do think the order of repeated events effecting the date order of the events in posterboard view should be something you guys should look at as its not right in my opinion. The option to move the events details to the bottom of the content rather than the top should also be another option by default as its probably not much work for you to provide us with this option.

Thanks for your time anyway, hopefully i can find someone who will be able to do the work on the forum like you suggested.

You cant give me a solution to the issue of the repeated events being show before the other events? Surely thats not how you’d like it to work, a repeated event on the 9th being shown before an event on the 5th?

I really like your plugin, but its the posterboard layout that im interested in.

I have some feature requirements and functionality requests before id be happy with your plugin, are you available to develop it more for me?

Basically i want to have the option to see events in posterboard view for

1 DAY
1 Week
1 Month
Choose Date Range

Id also like to use different colours for different days of the week. Id like the option to choose and change the colours myself as often as i like

Red ( Weekdays )
Blue ( Weekends )
Yellow ( Holidays or Present day )

If you can do this work please get back to me as soon as possible with a price and quote for the job.

We have around 20 menus like this on the website which lead users to the review pages so its important they work so i cant have the smooth scroll plugin activated too long incase someone wants to leave a review.

We have some accordion sets on some of the pages which are also effected. These are so much of an issue though as they will be fazed out soon and replaced with dedicated pages. Some will remain though so would be good to solve it for both.
