There is a new version of PowerPress out just now. Update to that version and it should fix the description tag to display the way should.
Shouldn’t be. Let me answer you on the ticket you sent.
To remove the blubrry stats prefix, you need to unlink your blubrry account from PowerPress.
If you are not using blubrry hosting or stats, it doesn’t do anything to have it linked. (other than put the stats prefix in for our free stats.
Do you have category podcasting enabled? Are you using that category for a podcast feed?

Correct. BUT, you can create a channel, assign it to a custom post-type and that should work just fine.
Using Channels for post-types is a better way of doing post-type podcasting and we are thinking about deprecating the Post-Type podcasting feature (leaving it for people using it now).

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Episode Box missingWhen you are in the block editor, look on the right sidebar for “podcast episode”. When you find it, you can click and drag it to the column under the post content. Depending on how many plugins and such, that box might move around.
Yes, we got the one from yesterday. Thank you!
Fix coming soon!

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Bad item length attribute value: -1@robsasuke The feed looks like it validates at CastFeedValidtor. I’m guessing the m3u8 link is a stream link? (HLS) If so, that is not supported yet in PowerPress. The mp4 link should work now. We are adding HLS support very soon.
Unfortunately, we have reached out over and over again to Patchstack with no response. Our dev team has fixed what they found, but without knowing what patchstack is seeing, we are kind of stuck. Even they are saying it’s a minor issue, but I really wish they would reply to us. Frustrating to say the least.
We have been trying to communicate with patchstack to either confirm we fixed it or to tell us what else needs to be fixed. So far no luck.
It is a low-priority issue according to them so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. As soon as we know what to fix, we will fix it. IF you have a contact at patchstack, please have them communicate with us.
We found an SSRF vulnerability and patched it on our own, so without any details, we can assume we’ve patched it. Patchstack is refusing to validate our patch or send us any details.
If they let us know what they are seeing, we will fix it asap, but without any communication from them, it’s hard to get a fix.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Ongoing SSRF VulnerabilityYes, we are working on getting the information from Patchstack. They have already told us that it is a low-priority bug and shouldn’t be an issue.
We should have a fix in the next version of PowerPress.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Patchstack SSRF vulnerabilityWe fixed it as far as we know at this point. Patchstack has been very slow at communicating with us on what they are finding.
I’m assured by my dev team that the bug they are reporting is fixed and even if it isn’t, it’s a very obscure and minor issue. Unfortunately, we are kind of at their mercy here 🙁
