Hi @voltronik
I now installed a completely new system. Newest WP-Version, theme Twenty Twenty-Three in newest version, no plugins but bnfw and classic editor.
Doesn’t work.
I receive the standard-WP-notification and the bnfw-Testmail, but not the notification after a new comment. Then I installed the plugin “Email Log”:
The bnfw-notifications are not listed here, they were not sent.
It is not a problem of my spam-filter.Then I installed “WP Mail SMTP”, but this didn’t help either.
I would like to ask you again, if I could send you a login to the system, so that you can see yourself.
Maybe it is just a simple thing, that I don’t see, but I really have no idea what this might be.
I switched the theme, but it makes no difference.
Hi @voltronik,
here are some screenshots:

If you want, I could give you an Admin-Login to the system. (It’s a testing system)
no, sorry, this doesn’t help, I already did this before:
– I set up a notification (Type “Posts” -> “New Comment”)
– I wrote a new comment for a post (anonymous, in a separate browser)
– I did NOT receive a notification mail!
(Testmails from bnfw work well, also mails from WP for “Email me whenever anyone posts a comment”)Hi @voltronik
thank you for your quick answer.Maybe i have a basic misunderstanding.
I thought it would work like this:- I set up a notification, e.g. for “new comment”
- a website-visitor writes a new comment
- the WP system automatically sends the notification mail
What exactly are the triggers all about?
Do I need to activate a trigger?
How does this work? - Setting up the notification:
