In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive Table and BookmarksHi Tobias,
Yes the new approach does not work on Opera. But hopefully not so many people using Opera with their mobile phone.
Thanks,
Katherina

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive Table and BookmarksHi,
So now I am using the “Horizontal Scrolling” for the tables and not the responsive tables. Everything works perfect now. Just one thing is it possible that the tables are not working with the Opera browser for mobile phones? There you can not swipe the table.
Best wishes

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive Table and BookmarksHi Tobias,
one more question. It is possible to enlarge the heigts of the cells so that very long names in a cell go to the next line (automatic word wrapping). Like you can see here: http://balticnet-plasmatec.netzwerkstelle.de/universities-research-institutes/
Unfortunatly I can not shorten the names.Thank you in advance.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive Table and BookmarksHi Tobias,
Thank you for answering. I will try to explain what I mean with the bookmarks (I mean Ankerpunkte in German). I have on this site: http://balticnet-plasmatec.netzwerkstelle.de/applications/
application industries. Here the user should click on one of the applications e.g. Engine Building Industry and now it should open a new window to this site: http://balticnet-plasmatec.netzwerkstelle.de/search-by-application-industries/ but not at the beginning of the site but at the Engine Building Industry part. Meaning jumping directly to the application. I hope you could understand what I mean. Sorry for the difficult explaination.Regards,
Katherina
Hi,
Thank you so much. I totally understand your comments, but to be honest I prefer the space and I think it looks better from my opinion. So thank you so much and I am very happy with the space.
Best wishes

Dear Tobias,
Thank you for your post. Here is the link to my page: http://balticnet-plasmatec.netzwerkstelle.de/companies/
I would like to have more space between function “show entries” and “search” and the beginn of the table with “name”, “city” etc…
Please could you help me with this?
The same space I would like to have for the bottom of the table between the last entry and the “Showing 1 to 10 of 42 entries” and “Previous/Next” function.Thank you already for your help.
Best regards
Katherina
