In reply to: [qTranslate] Removing language from qTranslateSurely when one disables the language in the language settings control panel, this should have the effect of removing the language from the code.. but no it seems..

In reply to: [qTranslate] linking to different language domainHello,
I have a website (.com) in English and have corresponding Chinese and Korean language versions installed, linked at the top of the header using the flags etc. All working fine. Now our office in China has their own website running, i.e. a .cn site. I wish to replace the corresponding Chinese version of the .com site with a link to the .cn site. I have gone into the language settings but I can’t find anywhere that lets me edit the CN language setting to enter the .cn URL.
When I see the page source code I can see the url that I need to change, but can’t edit it in the settings interface. So frustrating.
Anyone got any advice?
Cheers

In reply to: how to delete search tab from headerFound the problem – in drop panel settings I had enabled it earlier when experimenting. Now I disabled it again and search bar disappeared. I knew there was an easier solution than editing css files.

In reply to: how to delete search tab from headerOK, cheers, I’ve gone through all the widgets on the right hand side and none of them include the search form.. I’ll have another root around.. must be an easier fix than having to edit CSS files..

In reply to: how to delete search tab from headerThanks. I’ll have a read of that and try and figure it out.
WordPress has been fairly intuitive up to now. But it’s not very user friendly to have go editing css files when I haven’t had to up to now, especially for a change I didn’t make myself. You would think I could go to the widgets meunu and remove the search bar if it is showing there, but I don’t see any widget for the search bar in my installed widgets.
