In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Inactive main menuThe Pilcrow authors seem to feel the conflict is with Events Calendar (of course they do). Any thoughts on this one? I really don’t want to have to change my theme or Events Calendar (you’ve done a great job on this plugin).

In reply to: [Pilcrow] Menu conflict with event calendar pluginThank you sacredpath but unfortunately no joy with that CCS add on and yes, I have notified both Pilcrow theme and Events Calendar to the conflict. Figured I would give both groups a kick at figuring this one given both are so popular but apparently incompatible. I just don’t know enough about these dynamic type menus to do the figuring myself. Any help appreciated.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Inactive main menuDid some extra testing on this and it’s a conflict with the Pilcrow theme but I don’t know why. Set up a new install of WP 4.1, an unaltered version of Pilcrow theme, and events calendar as the only plugin and the problem persists. Change themes to 2012 or another popular choice and the menu works fine from the event listing page. I have notified the developer but no resolution yet.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Problems with Download managerThumbs up to Modern Tribe for taking the request into consideration. I have indeed found a suitable alternative download manager that works just fine with Events Calendar so all is good on my site-in-progress. Not sure if it’s apropriate to post the link so I will await approval from Modern Tribe folks to say okay before passing along the recommendation for a compatible download plugin.

The upload seems to be recorded in the database but the actual file gets dropped and permissions to download gets set to deny all. For clarification on which download manager – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/download-manager/ . I have since removed this pluggin and seeking an alternate but given it’s pushing 1 million downloads it would be a good plugin to be compatible with.
