It seems like the main issue is that the billing section of checkout should always be be default or displayed first. On other website you fill out billing, and then check “ship to different address” instead of the vice versa.

I need the billing page fields to be default for customers to fill out to display appropriate the needed fields to complete order instead of having to find them by checking and secondary box. As it stands now all customers have to do is fill out shipping details and they can leave billing blank and this is causing issues.

    Vupdraft,

Thanks for the response unfortunately the plugin suggested had no effect on my back-up plugins functionality.

Still getting the same errors in the developer’s console. No response from clicks inside the plugin settings.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks again.

    Vupdraft,

I have looked at the plugin and it seems like a possible solution. I am going to attempt to back up my website through the C-panel before I attempt any major changes like this.

This website is how I support myself and I would be at it a great lose if it were to have downtime.

Any extra information would be appreciated, I will re-post when I have tried the suggested plugin.

    Thanks again,

    Hello,

I am posting a link to images of the developers console. I have uploading the images to an Instagram account as I was unable to locate a place to attach on the forum.

There are 3 images attached to this like that can be scrolled through left and right.

If anyone has any information on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello vupdraft,

I appreciate the response. I am looking over the forum UI, it isn’t directly apparent how to attach an image. As it looks now, it doesn’t even seem possible. How would you like me to share this information on the forum?

Also, could you please explain what developer console you are referring to? and a brief description on how two access this information.

    Thank you for your help.

Hey I figured it out myself. I had to dig through the file system manually and change code myself. The error in the code was in the gateway plugin I downloaded. A few file systems deep in the plugin folder, I found the php responsible for what is sent to the credit companies to process. It had first_name listed twice. I switched it to last_name.

Fixed the code myself, and with help from my brother. We spent most of a day digging through the menus and then the file systems. Maybe this post can help someone with the similar problem. Check your gateway plugin for errors submitted to your card processing company.

We used Winscp to enter the file systems to change the code manually.

    Hello,

I am having that same exact questions for another reason. This is the transaction detail. I’d love to show you a screenshot but I don’t know how to attach a photo.

If you would like to email me you can reach me at [email protected]

I would really, really appreciate an email. I have an error where the billing detail is giving my credit company duplicate first names and I can’t have that. It looks like some kind of bug in the code. Or perhaps when I first opened woocommerce for my website I may have opened a field wrong.

My whole business is at a stand still becuase of this one little bug. Anyone please help!

    Adam
