In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cannot edit items on Checkout pageHi @carolm29
You’ve just saved a lot of my nerve cells! I should have contacted support much earlier. The point is I tried to use “Classic Checkout” block that has ‘shortcode’ icon in the list of blocks. So I was absolutely sure this is truly the same as using “Shortcode” block [woocommerce_checkout]. In fact, no, cause Classic Checkout doesn’t work, but Shortcode with [woocommerce_checkout] works perfectly. At least I can see fields, all hooks are available and Checkout Field Editor plugin affects my UI.
Thanks you so SO much!
That’s really weird, but it works with PolyLang perfectly without any additional changes. Looks like Loco Translate and UR can’t be good friends for now:) Anyway I have my page translated correctly, many thanks for your help.
Have a great day
An extra detail: I’ve just noticed that field labels in admin area are translated correctly, but only labels. For example, in admin area I can set label for Password field that will be shown for users. In English it looks like Password = “Password”. When I switch the site to my language, I see <Password in my language> = “Password”. So that label in admin area is translated, but value is not
Hi. Thanks for reply.
I’ve read this article before, but chose Loco folder as a location for translation files in order to avoid troubles with WordPress updates. Right now I’ve tried to relocate translation files as it’s recommended in the documentation. Unfortunately, nothing’s changed, my page is still in English.
Does it make sense to try another Translation plugin?
Thanks in advance
