I’ve been monitoring the Email logs with the WP Mail Log plugin. It shows that all recent emails were sent out fine. However, the WP Mail SMTP’s “PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed…” error message still shows up every time Wishlist tries to send out system emails (registration notification, etc).

I ran numerous tests. Most of the time when Wishlist tries sending out system emails, the emails do not actually go out. However, once in a while, emails successfully land in the recipients’ inbox despite of the error message.

Problem solved by re-generating the shortcode for the calendar page. Doing a happy dance. 🙂
