In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Share this buttonsDear Animesh, thanks for your really helpful response which enabled me to fix the problem. One of the plugins: Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent was responsible for the non-appearance of the Facebook button.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Recurring eventsNick, thanks for the reply. We use Google Calendar on our church’s website. We have lots of recurring events with the first instance several years in the past. However, we want to display an “Advanced Notices” view covering the next few months which only shows the next instance of these recurring events. If this could be an option then that would be really helpful.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Combining two Google CalendarsNick, I’m on 3.0.15 NB I did eventually find a solution by using “Custom” and “London” in all 3 calendars.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Problems with WordPress 4.0Nick a couple of days ago I fixed the problem. I noticed from the web pages that the shortcode syntax was different from the previous version. Making everything consistent with the new syntax fixed the issue.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Problems with WordPress 4.0Nick, I have just checked things out and the problem is still there. I have updated to 2.0.5.1 before running these tests. If I include this code:
[google-calendar-events id=”1″ type=”list-grouped” title=”” max=”12″]
in the 2nd column of our web page then the wrong RH sidebar is displayed, WordPress displays the sidebar used on all subpages see for example: http://www.stthomasstluke.org.uk/aboutus/sundays/ However, our homepage has its own unique sidebar. Everything works fine if I replace the gce code with a direct feed, see: http://www.stthomasstluke.org.uk/Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Problems with WordPress 4.0Nick, as of version 2.0.3.1 the problem was still there. I am currently away from home and haven’t yet had the chance to try it with the latest version and won’t be able to do so for another week yet. Let me come back to you in a week or so. If the problem is still there I will also send some screenshots to illustrate the problem.
