In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Strange Javascript/Cookie Error MessageI just ran into this problem and I use both Mailchimp for WordPress and WP-SpamShield. Were you able to find a solution for this?
I was able to fix it by deleting the .user.ini file.
That is correct.
It was the FlexMLS plugin version 3.5.11.2. However, the FlexMLS plugin was causing an issue because I needed to upgrade my PHP version. Once I did, the FlexMLS plugin and Wordfence could be reactivated.
Even with an outdated PHP version Wordfence was upgraded on other sites that didn’t have the FlexMLS plugin.
I was able to get this resolved. I believe it was another plugin causing the issue. Once I fixed that issue, I was able to upgrade WordFence without a problem.

In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] All my sites crashedHi Scott,
Same issue for my site on WP Engine, if that helps. No, 500 error, just white screen. Commenting out the lines you referenced solved the issue and I’ll wait for an update.
I also have sites using your plugin on Media Temple DV server and Pair Networks server. Those updated without issue.
Thanks for your quick attention to this.

In reply to: [International Telephone Input for Contact Form 7] Deprecated php errorWow, that was a quick response! I am getting another error now but referring to the Contact Form 7 plugin itself. Now I get this error:
WPCF7_Shortcode is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use WPCF7_FormTag instead. in plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 351
I’m not sure what else you changed but when I just made that one change, I didn’t get this error. When I de-activate your plugin, I also don’t get this error. I’m not sure exactly what the issue is now, but I hope this is helpful.
Thanks again for the plugin.
I am going to mark this as resolved. It turns out that re-authorizing Dropbox seems to have worked. The files were showing up in the local folder but disappeared once the backup was complete.

In reply to: [Tumblr Crosspostr] Error trying to post image or video post formatsSorry for the delay in responding to your post. This was due to the fact that I am testing on my local server, so you did resolve my issue, thank you. It didn’t occur to me because the other types of post formats went through without errors, even ones with images. I am having one other issue that I will post in a new thread. Thanks again for your (very quick) help.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] "Password reset link appears to be invalid"I am having this same problem. When I disable the plugin this works fine.
My only issue is that if you don’t purchase the folders add-on for dropbox or google drive or whatever remote storage you use and you click on “rescan remote storage” link, it will pull in every backup you have from every site for which you use the plugin.
I had no need to use that link until I had a problem a while back where one site was backing up every 15 minutes or so and my other accounts weren’t pruning the backups so it was all a mess and I didn’t know what backups I actually had. I thought using that link might clear that up but instead it pulled in every backup from all my installations and made quite a mess. Only when you clicked on the backup to download it could I see that it was, in fact, for a different installation. I use your plugin on all 23 sites I manage so you could imagine how many backups it listed and those had to be deleted manually to get an accurate listing of what was actually backed up. I got that all sorted out and I realize I could purchase the PRO version and make separate folders for each installation but to your credit, I had no need for separate folders until I ran into that problem, which you resolved.
My only suggestion would be to have some kind of warning that clicking that link will pull in all backups in the folder (even if they belong to other installations) and result in an inaccurate listing of the actual backups for that installation.
All that said, that’s just a small suggestion and I am otherwise very happy with the plugin and I will happily write you a 5 star review. Overall, it’s saved me a lot of time and has been a big help to managing a lot of WordPress installation (I use MainWP with UpdraftPlus, by the way to bulk manage these sites).
So, thanks again!
Ok, that must have been it as that worked. I guess I was really on top of that update! Thanks.
