Hi @joyryde,
Thanks for reaching out.
May I ask if you’ve activated the Google Tag Gateway? If so, it may increase server load. However, the Pixel Manager’s Google Tag Gateway implementation is already extremely efficient as it doesn’t load WordPress.
As you’re using the pro version of the Pixel Manager, you can also send us a support request to [email protected] and send us any diagnostic data from Cloudways.Hi Emilio,
Thanks for getting back.
Kindly send us a direct message through our support form here so we can take a closer look. See: https://sweetcode.com/support/We’ll wait for your prompt response.
Hi there,
I understand that you’re seeing a 404 response for the wp_remote_get to Google Analytics API test in the Debug Information. Allow me to provide some clarification.
In the latest version of PMW (both Free and Pro), we’re now using wp_remote_post instead of wp_remote_get to test a connection with the GA4 API. When the connection is working, you’ll see this in the Debug Information:wp_remote_post to GA4 Measurement Protocol API: 204
I recommend updating to the latest version of the plugin (1.47). After the update, the Debug Information should reflect the correct API call (WC > Pixel Manager > Support).
Let us know if you have any further questions.
